About Dirk Markgraf

Dirk Markgraf is a freelance photographer based in Germany with a passion for sports and travel. Working for over a decade as geologist in the geotechnical engineering business he turned his focus to photography and covers sport from the local football club to some major sport events as well as travel experiences and wildlife. Being a fan of South Africa´s Springboks rugby team he appreciates the values of rugby like respect and sportsmanship.

265-images was developed not to solely store images on harddisks but to make it open to the public. A steadily growing Nikon photo equipment is used to capture sports action and life.
